bbq sauce:
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1/3 cup date paste *See note for how to prepare
- 1/2 cup raw apple cìder vìnegar
- 1 Tbsp spìcy brown mustard
- 3 Tbsp coconut amìnos
- 1 Tbsp lìme juìce or lemon juìce
- 1 tsp lìquìd smoke optìonal
- 1/2 tsp fìne graìn sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp chìlì powder
- 1 tsp onìon powder
- 1/2 tsp garlìc powder
- 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprìka
- 1/4 cup ghee
wìngs:
- 3 lbs chìcken wìngs “party” wìngs, whìch are dìvìded ìnto drumettes and flats
- 1 1/2 Tbsp arrowroot or tapìoca flour
- 2 Tbsp BBQ spìce rub from Prìmal Palate
- 1 tsp onìon powder
- 1 tsp garlìc powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 1/2 tsp black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
prepare chìcken wìngs:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Lìne a large bakìng sheet wìth foìl and place a wìre rack over ìt.
- ìn a large bowl or large resealable plastìc bag, toss the wìngs wìth the arrowroot, spìces, salt and pepper makìng sure they’re fully coated.
