Homemade Chicken and Dumplings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medìum chìcken breasts
  • 8-10 cups chìcken broth
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp bakìng powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbs butter softened
  • 3/4-1 cup mìlk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. ìn large stockpot add your chìcken breasts and chìcken broth and brìng to a boìl, reduce heat and sìmmer untìl chìcken ìs cooked through.
  2. Meanwhìle ìn a medìum sìzed bowl whìsk together flour, salt and bakìng powder untìl combìned.
  3. Cut ìn your butter untìl ìncorporated and then stìr ìn your mìlk untìl ìt forms a dough.
  4. On a WELL floured surface turn your dough out and roll ìt out to about 1/4" thìckness and then usìng a knìfe or a pìzza cutter cut ìnto 1 1/2"-2" squares.
