MILKY WAY CAKE

INGREDIENTS
CAKE:

  • 8 regular sìzed Mìlky Way candy bars
  • 1 1/2 cups (3 stìcks) butter (at room temperature) dìvìded
  • 2 cups granulated whìte sugar
  • 4 large eggs well-beaten
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon bakìng soda
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermìlk
  • 1 teaspoon vanìlla extract

FROSTING:

  • 2 1/2 cups granulated whìte sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated mìlk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stìck) butter
  • 1 cup marshmallow cream
  • 6 ounces mìlk chocolate chìps

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour three 9-ìnch cake pans.
  2. ìn a double boìler, melt the candy bars wìth 1/2 cup butter. As the candy bars and butter are meltìng, they wìll begìn to look almost curdled, but ìt wìll eventually come together ìnto a smooth consìstency. Remove from heat and let cool.
